Bert de Muynck is architect, writer and researcher. His essays and reviews have been published in several international magazines such as LOG (US), Archis (NL), Volume (NL), DOMUS (IT), DOMUSCHINA (CN), GAM (AU), MONU (AU) Tresholds (US), XXI (TU) and Urban China (CN). He lectured and exhibited at UIA2005 and at presented papers at several conferences including Fudan University International Forum on Urbanism (Shanghai 2006), Ephemera a Transsiberian Conference (Moscow-Beijing 2005). During 2004-2005 he was visiting critic for the “Capital Cities” studio at the Berlage Institute, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. From 2005-2007 he was co-founder of People’s Architecture (New York-Beijing). He currently lives and works in Beijing, China.
