ENERGY FLOW
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_flow_(ecology)
In ecology, energy flow, also called the calorific flow, refers to the flow of energy through a food chain. In an ecosystem, ecologists seek to quantify the relative importance of different component species and feeding relationships.

ENERGY DENSITY
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_density
Energy density is a term used for the amount of energy stored in a given system or region of space per unit volume. Often only the useful or extractable energy is quantified, which is to say that chemically inaccessible energy such as rest mass energy is ignored.[1] Quantified energy is energy that has some sort of, as the name suggests, quantified magnitude with related units.

ENERGY TRANSFER
Energy transfer is the transfer of energy from one body to another.
There are a few main ways that energy transfer occurs:
Radiant energy (radiation)
Heat conduction
Convection
Electrical power transmission
Mechanical work

Electricity generation
