This is BURB, the collaborative research platform investigating sustainable urban solutions for Asia's emerging economies. The project is lead by Neville Mars and produced with dedicated teams of planners, designers and scholars that form the Dynamic City Foundation (动态城市基金会).

NEW ON M-A-R-S

DCF and MARS Architects have set up shop in Bali where work is focused to put the latest theories into practice, building a pilot project that connects architecture and planning to deliver a scalable and substantiated carbon negative / land positive development model.

THE CHINESE DREAM

The first volume THE CHINESE DREAM - a society under construction (Neville Mars, Adrian Hornsby, NAI 010, 2008) is no longer available, but the new volume ZERØ CITY, a regenerative design manual that reveals how micro scale interventions can be aligned to achieve sustainability at the macro scale, will soon be published in hard copy, as well as in PDF online, and as a video lecture series.
