An Israeli architect and designer. She received her B.Arch. from the School of Architecture, Tel-Aviv University, with major in public buildings and MSc in the Institute for Technologies in the Tropics, with major in environment, climate and locally adapted architecture. Fields of interest: urban design, old and new cities, design of master plan, architecture in the tropics and subtropics – building technologies and environmental/climatic adaptations, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary factors of influence on urban design and architecture, sustainability in rapidly changing market environments, comparative environmental and climatic impacts of market transition in China and its potential for optimization, traditional building typologies in China (sanheyuan), their climate adaptability and potential to be adapted into contemporary building strategies.
