Wuhan Lab

Wuhan Lab is a collaborative practice created through the work from and among an open group of creators based in Wuhan, China. WL approaches each project as 'creative'. The lab works in a range of media, from video to performance, fashion or architectural design, but always on the scale of the familiar, the everyday and the banal. Members of WuhanLab have been working together and individually since 2005 and have in 2009 set up a studio in Wuhan, China.

As an city workshop,Wuhan Lab seeks to contribute to the emergence of innovative solutions for the city. It seeks to test concrete solutions, to promote international comparisons, to identify the most original urban culture and good design. Wuhan Lab experts and expertise from multiple disciplines, disseminates knowledge and raises public awareness of the challenge that urbanization for the societies of today.
